GOHS PTO is proud to offer 5 - $1,000 scholarships to graduating GOHS seniors who will be enrolled full-time in an accredited college or university or technical institute for the fall/spring terms immediately following the applicant’s high school graduation.

GOHS PTO is proud to support GOHS students who are focused on achieving career goals through postsecondary education. Each evaluation will consist of reviewing the applicant’s application, which should detail the student’s post secondary education plans, career plans, participation in extracurricular activities, community involvement and work experience. The scholarship committee will also score a personal essay and review two letters of recommendation.

The scoring rubric is available below.  We recommend you carefully review the rubric as you begin your scholarship application.

Two Letters of Recommendation should be submitted. Note: It is the applicant’s responsibility to follow up and ensure submission of the letters of recommendation. You may ask for a status update by emailing president@grandoakspto.com. No other details besides submission status will be given.
